Concert Para Voices Und Colori

The fifteen European Union countries are represented by the masterpieces of twentieth-century artists. Gigantic images wrap around the whole city-hall square. Entire buildings are transformed into paintings, in a kind of enormous fresco that turns into the sound of voices singing. The voices of the Latvian choir emerge from the windows that open onto the square. This is the Europe that is waiting for union. These voices alternate with the sounds of a jazz band. In this way the visual art works are turned into musical pieces. The buildings become paintings and the paintings sing a song for Europe.
